I had a trip down to Shoebury East Beach this morning. It holds great memories for me as I used to windsurf there a lot in my twenties and spent many hours avoiding the massive boom that runs out to sea and separates the public and M.O.D. land! Although the tide was out, the boom was looking good.

Chalkwell bridge!

Somebody recently suggested that they would like to see photographs of the spiral bridge at Chalkwell that crosses the C2C railway line and leads onto the coastal path between Old Leigh and Chalkwell. It was a great idea! Please get in touch if you have any more suggestions of great places in our area that you'd like to see more of.
